3) Give Ideas

You want to show off your connections when you are applying for any type of fundraising job, like fundraising sales jobs or regular jobs in fundraising. Therefore, if you can use your most well connected references for these applications, you will have a better chance at getting that job that you desire.
7) Be In The Know For Issues
Issues are going to be important to the school and to other places that need fundraising. Therefore, you want to do all that you can to focus on these issues and make sure that you are getting the right information for the schools and for the issues themselves. If you can, learn as much as you can about the various ways that the issues work, and then try to talk about them within the interview. If you are interested in the issues and show it, you will have a better chance at the job.
8) Show All Sides of Yourself
With fundraiser jobs, one of the most important things that you will need to do is be a people person and try to convince people to spend their money for your cause. So, if you can show through your interview that this is the type of person you are, you will have a better chance at getting the job.

Fundraising is all about trying new things and being ready for a change of pace. You want to be sure that you show you are ready for change, and that you can be sure to show that you will be willing to get up and go with the flow when it comes to being the change that you seek.
10) Be Motivated
Lastly, you will need to be motivated. Motivation is extremely important when it comes to fundraising jobs. Often it is going to be up to you and up to you only to make sure that the fundraising is done well, and so you are going to want to show that you are ready to be motivated.
